WELCOME
The AAPM Spring Clinical Meeting 2024 will be held at the Hyatt Regency St. Louis at the Arch, St. Louis, Missouri. This meeting brings together medical physicists to learn, refresh and discuss practical information designed to help in the clinical integration of emerging technologies shaping the treatments of tomorrow. A program has been developed to provide a forum for the exchange of ideas in support of practice quality improvement and to address regulatory as well as accreditation related issues.

In the Clinic: Short Oral
This is your opportunity to share interesting, innovative, or unique clinical activities from your clinic. Abstracts may be submitted for a short oral presentation. Each speaker will be allocated 7 minutes (5-minute presentation + 2-minute Q&A) and will be grouped by broad theme. These will be clinically based talks. We’re interested in the process, rather than a history of the procedure. Practical solutions that others can look up and implement will be given highest priority.
Presidential Symposium
You won’t want to miss this year's Presidential Symposium which will feature thought leaders exploring the impacts of the many disruptors of the last few years - from COVID-19 and Artificial Intelligence to industry mergers among 3rd party physics groups and the introduction of OEM manufacturers offering professional staffing services. The session will discuss the work of AAPM therapy and diagnostic workforce groups which will shine a light on workforce data and explore whether efforts being taken today will be up to the task of addressing some of the challenges physicists and practices are contending with.
What impact will new technological innovations have on the field of medical physics? How might medical physics practice models change? How should residents approach the field they will soon enter? Join the current AAPM President, Todd Pawlicki, as well as a speakers and panelists, experts and practicing physicists as these topics which are on the minds of physicists across the country.
