The target audience is clinical medical physicists, dosimetrists, therapists, administrators, and regulators who have a strong familiarity with the TG-100 recommendations, principles, and techniques. Someone who has attended a full-day workshop would fit this description, as would someone who has completed an initial round of implementation of the TG-100 approach in their clinic (i.e. someone who has a working familiarity with process mapping, FMEA, at least rudimentary fault tree analysis, and Quality Management program review/design).
If you would like to have the skills and confidence to share these techniques with others by being a resource and instructor to others in your clinic or region—this workshop is for you! Please note, content will be customized to the makeup of the participant group, so professionals from radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging, and nuclear medicine will all benefit from the workshop.
Individuals who complete this workshop will be able to confidently organize and effectively conduct a workshop in their community (whether associated with a chapter/society activity or an internal health-system training event for colleagues).
The networking and support does not end once the workshop closes. The members of WG100 are willing to assist with a comprehensive curriculum (slide sets and exercises), and can even act as informal "consultants" to an organizer along the way if desired. We have supported numerous informational and training sessions to date, and stand ready to help you meet the goals for your group/clinic.
